The most important aim of this outreach programme was to promote actions for the sake of MSMEs and knowledge dissemination on electronic platforms.

With this event, Mohammad Mustafa, IAS, Chairman and Managing Director, SIDBI, stated,”This initiative is part of our SIDBI Vision 2.0 below which Mission Swavalamban is our umbrella initiative. The prime goal of this initiative would be to gauge the anticipation of MSME stakeholders, identify the good practices of this Condition and indicate State-specific schemes. We anticipate greater involvement by MSMEs in those programs and urge them to make use of those initiatives.”

This outreach programme by SIDBI relies on recommendation of the specialist committee on MSMEs led by Shri U.K. Sinha, former chairman of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), for SIDBI to collaborate with State Government for MSME units clubbed on electronic platforms like PSBloansIn59minutes, e-commerce platforms, record on stock trades, etc.. Here is the ninth outreach programme below the initiative.Eight programmes have been organised in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Kerala. The target market for all these programs were officers from State Governments, banks, business associations, Technical Consultancy Organizations (TCOs), MSMEs and other pertinent stakeholders.

The programme held in Karnal from the State of Haryana witnessed great involvement from various stakeholders including senior officials of Govt. Of Haryana, Directorate of Industries, District Industries Centres, Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Banks, MSME development businesses, Business Associations and MSMEs. There were understanding sessions State Government Schemes for MSMEs, PSBLoansIn59Minutes, chances for MSMEs for list on Stock Exchange, e commerce platforms – Authorities e-Marketplace (GeM), strategies of MSME-Development Institute (MSME-DI) for MSMEs, curiosity subvention,Udyami Mitra, Mission Swavalamban, Prayas Scheme along with other Initiatives of SIDBI. The sessions were followed by talks with participants.
